Insurance for everyday life.
Tident Auto provides Auto, Health and Travel insurance for the week you actually have: the commute, the everyday Health questions, the weekend trip, and the details you finally get around to updating.
Useful on a Tuesday. Still useful on a Saturday.
Did something change this week?
Did something change this week?
Insurance information works best when it matches what is actually happening in your life. These are ordinary moments when a quick look at your current details, or a quick question, can make sense.
Drag the week. Watch the car.
Not sure a change matters? That's a perfectly good question to ask. Reviewing current information is how you find out what, if anything, needs updating.
Three details people often mix up
Similar words. Very different jobs.
Deductible, coverage limit and exclusion show up in almost every plan summary, for Auto, Health and Travel alike. Here is what each one does, in plain words.

Deductible
In plain words
The amount a plan specifies that may need to be paid before applicable coverage contributes. Whether and how it applies depends on the coverage and the situation.
Ordinary example: say a plan lists a deductible for a certain coverage. For a situation that coverage applies to, that first portion may be yours before the plan contributes.
Look for: the deductible amount, and which coverage it belongs to. Can differ by coverage
Every plan defines these in its own terms. Use these as a starting point, then check the specific terms of the plan you're considering.
One situation can touch more than one plan
Picture one day: you drive to the airport, park, fly with a suitcase, and need a pharmacy or a doctor while you're away.
Auto, Health and Travel insurance can each relate to a different part of that same day. Each plan has its own purpose, terms, limits and conditions.

Stage 1 · Auto
Driving to the airport and parking
This part of the day is about the car: who's driving it and where it's left.
- Who's driving today, and whether regular drivers are listed on the Auto plan
- How the Auto plan describes coverage while the car is parked
- Where the Auto ID card or policy details are: glovebox, phone, or both
Stage 2 · Travel
Flying with a suitcase
This part is about the trip itself: the dates, the route and the bags.
- Trip dates and destination match what the Travel plan lists
- What the plan says about luggage, delays or changes, where it includes them
- The plan's contact details, saved in your phone before departure
Stage 3 · Health
A health need while away
This part is about the person: a pharmacy stop, a clinic visit, a question for a doctor.
- Whether the Health plan applies outside your usual area, or abroad
- How the Health and Travel plans each describe medical situations on a trip
- Member card and plan contact number, packed next to the passport
Each plan looks after its own part of the day, under its own terms. Read each one for the stage it belongs to.
